As I continue to get back into the groove of everyday life, I find myself again reevaluating the relationships that I have and the kind of energy that I want to be exposed to on a daily basis. I can imagine that it isn’t just me that feels this way every now and then…and after investing so much time into a relationship–whether it’s with a spouse, family member, or friend, it’s disheartening to think that it ultimately may not have been what you thought. It definitely isn’t something easy to do, but I truly believe that removing negative energy and relationships from your life is one of the crucial ways to promote healthy living. I’ve even stopped talking to family members because of this–people focusing on the negative aspects of every situation. I personally, refuse to engage any longer.
